Boston Casting has been incorporated for over 30 years and is the largest casting company in New England. Boston Casting specializes in casting principal roles, background extras, kids, pets and vintage cars for feature films, television series’, commercials, corporate videos, web videos, unscripted as well as voiceovers.
Boston Casting’s extensive database has over 85,000 union and non-union actors, including thousands of children as well as special ability talent. We take a collaborative approach to casting, with nine casting directors, associates, and assistants, an extras casting department, three studios, and an acting school. Boston Casting has all the tools to find just the right talent and arrange the perfect ensembles.

When I set out to make Coda, I wanted the town to be a character in the movie. It was important to me that every role in the film, from the Gloucester fishing community to the high school choir kids, felt as real and dimensional as the Rossi family. Boston Casting was passionate and tireless in finding the right local actors for these roles. In the end, we filled the movie with incredible talent that added a beautiful layer of authenticity and gave the story a sense of place. I loved working with Angela and Lisa, they were a lot of fun, amazing collaborators and I was lucky to have had this incredible casting team!
