OUR OFFICE AND STUDIO ARE OPEN! WE ARE CURRENTLY OFFERING BOTH IN-STUDIO AND VIRTUAL CASTING.

The health and safety of our clients, actors and staff is our highest priority. Please take a moment to review our guidelines and procedures below and stay tuned for further updates as we continue to navigate these uncharted waters.

SAFETY AND SANITIZATION GUIDELINES:

Boston Casting follows all safety and sanitization guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as well as federal and industry standards.  All clients, actors and employees should expect the following:

HYGIENE + DISINFECTION PROTOCOLS:

Hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol is available throughout the office, as well as access to hand-washing facilities with soap and running water.  All clients, actors and staff are required to sanitize hands upon entering and leaving the studio.  Cleaning and disinfection of the entire site, including heavy transit areas and high-touch areas are conducted daily and frequently throughout the day.  A professional cleaning service cleans and sanitizes the office after each casting session.

FACE MASKS OPTIONAL FOR CLIENTS/ACTORS:

Boston Casting follows all up-to-date COVID-19 CDC guidelines as well as the City of Boston’s Recommendations.  At this time, masks are considered optional for clients/actors, regardless of vaccination status. We have disposable face masks available if needed, but you are encouraged to bring your own. Clients will have the option of utilizing a personal protection shield (48″ x 24″ and 1/4 inch thick acrylic) if they wish.

APPOINTMENT ONLY:

Auditions are by appointment only. Please arrive at your scheduled time (please do not arrive early). No walk-ins are allowed (even for social reasons). If you are unable to keep your appointment time, please call the office at 617-254-1001 to reschedule.

NO COMPANION POLICY:

Unless the actor is a minor, or there is a medical need, we will not permit anyone to join the actor in-studio for their audition.  Companions may wait in the car or outside. Minors should be accompanied by only 1 adult.

At this time, masks are considered optional for all students, regardless of vaccination status. Our studios/classrooms have plenty of space and a wall full of windows (which will be open at all times).  When you arrive for class, please walk into the building and go straight to Suite 109 (there is no need to arrive early for class).
